The Way to a Girl's Heart...

...is through her sweet tooth. At least that's the most direct path to my heart. Here are a few Valentine desserts that have caught my eye lately.

Dessert for breakfast? Yes, please. Forget the heart-shaped pancakes. Start the morning off right with some sweet heart shaped doughnuts.

An evening by the flickering firelight with some s'mores sounds pretty great to me. Especially if the marshmallows are homemade and heart-shaped. Heaven.

Cake and brownies are always a win. Throw in a little vanilla frosting and you're a superstar.

Had enough chocolate yet? Cut your chocolate with a little fruit. This one's practically health food. Not to mention it's absolutely gorgeous.

Now the only trouble is deciding which to make for Valentine's Day.

Apparently, my system is feeling seriously chocolate-deprived. Usually I'm more of a sugary, candy kind of girl. But chocolate is pretty romantic. And try to tell me that your kids wouldn't flip out over making valentine s'mores. (Even if you have to go a little ghetto and roast the marshmallows over the gas burner).

Oh my chocolate-y heaven! Those brownies abt made me drool. I'm thinking of making red velvet whoopie pies for V-Day, but now I'm thinking hard on changing it to those layered brownies.
