I'm a mom, a blogger and a graphic designer. My desk is always messy. I lose my keys at least three times a day. I used to be a dance teacher, and I most definitely cannot sing. I've lived everywhere from San Francisco to Cheyenne. We currently live in Salt Lake City.
I'm a blogger.
Obviously. Welcome to my blog. Here I share my DIY adventures, parenting snippets and home design projects. I'm a contributor for Honest to Nod and Wayfair, and sometimes I write for What to Expect. I got my BA in English, where I studied the technical aspects of writing and editing for publication. But that was ages ago. So pardon me if I leave a poor little participle dangling somewhere or throw in an Oxford comma for old times' sake. I really do know better. But whatever.
I'm a designer.
I opened an Etsy shop seven years ago to keep myself sane while my husband was in dental school. I have my own line of paper goods: recipe cards, gift tags, note cards, etc. available online and in several independent brick and mortar stores around the country. I also do freelance design work for individuals and companies at an hourly rate.
I'm a mom.
The kids are my day job. And my night job. They drive me crazy. But a good, messy, sticky, loud, squishy, snuggly, hilarious kind of crazy. I'd be lost without them. There are three of them--two boys and a girl in the middle. They're currently 8, 4 and 2 years old. I love them to bits, but I don't remember the last time I slept through the night or took a shower without an audience. Secretly I'm dreading they day they grow up and stop needing me. In the meantime, it's easier for me to complain about how it's absolutely their fault that I'm losing my marbles one at a time.
