Mantle Style

The top project on my list right now is decorating the mantle. I love the idea of a collection of items grouped together on the mantle. Here are some of my favorites:

I will certainly be using this idea come summer when all my roses are blooming. (The stipulation being that I don't kill them in the meantime).

I really, really love the fresh clean look of assorted clear jars and the colorful blooms.

Vintage bottles look like a work of art when grouped together.

Three amaryllis together look so lovely with the rest of the tone on tone decor.

I love the eclectic grouping of frames and plates--since it's all in black and white it works together so well.

We'll see how mine comes together. My goal is to have it done by the end of next week. I feel an inspiration board coming on.

What's on your mantle right now?

I'm going to try to comment without typos today! :):)

Delightful inspiration, my dear! The vintage bottles are devine.

I bet you can guess what's on my mantel.

I love decorating my mantle... why is it so fun?

Right now I have a huge piece of driftwood from a Lake Michigan vacation and an orchid I bought for myself a few weeks back.

I love the look of the grouped vintage bottles... just lovely!

I love that first one with all those colorful roses! SO pretty! Mine is unfortunately a little close to the flat screen above, so there's not a lot of room--because of the tan granite (not my choice) I've got a buddha head, some piles of beach rocks, a little bird...all in earth tones--wish I could do something brighter with the space. You are inspiring as always! :)
