Fighting the Frump: Colored Tights

It's fair to say I've been obsessed with colored tights since last fall's Kate Spade collection. And tights are one of the quickest (and most inexpensive!) ways to add a little sass to your wardrobe. Here are a few of my favorite inspirations:

Kate Spade does it again

and again.

Just in case you were wondering, colored tights do exist in the real world, beyond the glittering world of Kate Spade:

I've always been partial to black tights. But I'm feeling brave this fall. Perhaps it's time to step out of my comfort zone.
Any thoughts? Are colored tights a do or a don't in your book?

If you missed last week's installment of Fighting the Frump, go here.

I'm totally into coloured tights this year - alredy stocked up on red and lavendar - not sure I could carry off yellow or teal though! To take the edge of the bravery required, I wear them with knee-high boots and a longer/knee length skirt, so you get a peep of colour, rather than whole leg exposure ;o) So far, I'm Fighting the Frump right along with you!

I am a huge colored tights fan and agree it's one of the fastest and easiest way to be absolutely chic--not that you need any help, you are a little blond yummy mummy that probably has all the guys in the supermarket drooling (lol!) and hardly frumpy!

Love this. Although the kate spade looks are spectacular a little hard to pull of in real world especially with kids. But, I do love the mustard color tight look. Glad to have found your blog. Come check out mine (pls go past the halloween posts to see the real me).
