Nie Nie Auction

I know this seems a bit late, for those of you who are aware of Stephanie & Christian Nielson's situation. I've been lurking around both Nie's blog and C Jane's blog (Nie's sister) since I read about the accident. I've felt such sadness in my heart for everyone involved and wished there was something I could do to help. Since my blog was brand new at the time of Nie Nie Day, I held off on doing an auction for fear that nobody would even see it. After talking with my friends yesterday, most of whom know about Stephanie and Christian, I realized my hesitation was silly and selfish. So now I'm jumping in to do what I can.

I'm auctioning off a complete party package, which includes:

• Invitations + Envelopes (Limit 50 invitations)
• Party Favor Tags
• Place Cards
• Thank You Notes
• Custom Printed Napkins
• Event Planning Service

I will work with you to design the perfect party. From the invitations to the table décor, and party favors, your party will be spectacular. I will also help you with ideas for your menu, party décor, and theme. So if you have a bridal or baby shower, birthday party, small wedding, holiday party, or just want an excuse to throw a party, now's your chance to donate to a good cause.

Here's how it works: Bidding starts at $20. Bids must be in $1 increments, and the auction closes at 11:59 PM PST on Thursday, Sept. 25. To place a bid, simply leave a comment on this post with your bid amount, and your email address. The winner will then send their donation to the Nie Recovery Foundation PayPal account. Send me a copy of your receipt, and we’ll get working on your party.
