The Alchemist

I read this book a while ago and I just wanted to take a minute to recommend it. It is a wonderful tale of a young shepherd who sets out to find treasure, and meanwhile finds himself. HarperCollins describes it as "A Fable About Following Your Dreams." The book is written so simply, but there is a great depth and so much beauty in that simplicity. I read it in just a couple of days, so it's not a major time commitment. And it is very inspiring; but not in a sappy way. It's one of those books that made me feel like a better person for having read it. That's hard to come by these days. Enjoy.
