Isabella Oliver Maternity

Thanks to Isabella Oliver, I may actually find something great to wear to my 10 year class reunion this summer. I have to admit, I've been dreading it a bit knowing that I'd be very obviously pregnant by then. I love that all the pieces on this website are well-tailored and solid color. Just add great shoes and a fab necklace and you're all set. Now I have to figure out which will work better: pants with a great top, or a cute dress. Any other ideas for class-reunion-friendly maternity clothes???

I love that white top... You have to be so careful with maternity dresses that they don't billow out too much and make you look larger than you really are...at least that's my experience.

I like the idea of a top and either skirt or pants (although that dress would be pretty hard to resist if I were pregnant).

If I ever get pregnant I would definitely get that purple dress. We are so lucky to have so many more options available to us now.

Go with that plum dress. So stylish and pretty!

My favorite go-to maternity top was an Isabella Oliver, it wrapped around my large belly. Love, Em

When I was pregnant with my oldest (14+ years ago), it seemed designers thought maternity clothes were required to have giant polka dots, massive shoulder pads, big ugly bows, and/or hideous florals... AS IF all of our oversized, amorphous features weren't exagerated enough! By the time I was pregnant with our second child, it seemed people started catching on. "Hey! Maybe pregnant women would like to wear clothing that looks like something they would pick out and wear without a big belly. Let's give them NORMAL choices!" So yay for finally catching on! Those clothes you posted about are great choices!

I was thinking about you yesterday when I ran into Target because I was drawn to these super cute maxi dresses and it turns out they are maternity wear by Liz Lange for Target. She has lots of ruffly tee-shirt dresses too and the price is right. (Just in case you weren't already on to it).
