While I'm on the topic of kids today, I'll just run with it. The forecast for the weekend is pretty drizzly, so I'm arming myself with some quick craft ideas we can use the moment boredom strikes. Even better, is that both of these crafts are simple and we have all the supplies on hand.
Paper Tops, from Martha Stewart
These are really cute, and will give me a great way to use up some of the endless paper scraps I have laying around.
Race Car Painting, from Family Fun
H. loves race cars and he loves painting. Put them together, and I'm guessing he's gonna be in messy, four-wheeled bliss!

looks like rain today too. Fun. I may just try the tops this wknd! Thanks Lady!
Love rainy day crafts with the kids - might have to try out those tops with mine! Have a great crafty weekend!
Oh, what a great and crafty mom you are! Both sounds like very fun projects. Sorry to here about the rain.
I can't WAIT to have kids so that I can legitimately do fun stuff like this---I think that the huz would look at me weird if he came home and I was making race car paintings by myself...but let me tell you, there's a chance i might try it anyway! And now that I think about it, he might look at me funny at first, but then he'd probably join in. Even at 26, he loves his race cars!
Have a great weekend Chris!
Hey Anne, if you ever need to borrow some race cars, please give me a call! I've got plenty on hand. :)
